At Health Response for Community Development and Sustainability (HE-RECORDS), we believe that true community development goes hand-in-hand with economic empowerment. Our Income Generation & Skills Training program is designed to equip individuals—especially women, youth, and marginalized groups—with practical skills and entrepreneurial tools to improve their livelihoods and achieve financial independence.

By promoting self-reliance and sustainable income opportunities, we empower people to break the cycle of poverty, reduce vulnerability, and build brighter futures for themselves and their families.

Key Program Components:

• Vocational Skills Training:
  We offer hands-on training in high-demand trades such as tailoring, hairdressing, carpentry, welding, catering, agriculture, and digital literacy—based on local market needs.

• Entrepreneurship & Business Development:
  HE-RECORDS supports aspiring entrepreneurs with basic business education, mentorship, and guidance on how to start, manage, and grow small businesses.

• Microfinance & Savings Groups:
  We help individuals and community groups form Village Savings and Loan Associations (VSLAs) and access microcredit to fund income-generating activities.

• Job Readiness & Employment Support:
  Our programs include resume writing, interview preparation, and linkages to employers, apprenticeships, and internships to help participants transition into the workforce.

• Women & Youth Empowerment:
  Special focus is placed on empowering women and young people to become financially independent, confident, and active contributors to their communities.

• Market Linkages & Cooperative Development:
  We connect trained individuals to markets and support the formation of cooperatives to increase their bargaining power and access to resources.
